GASTROPROTECTIVE EFFECT OF CRUDE SERICIN POWDER, AGAINST ASPIRIN INDUCED GASTRIC MUCOSAL INJURIES IN RATS

Crude Sericin Powder, derived from the silk gland of silkworm (Bombyx mori) has many biomedical applications due to its antioxidant properties. In this present study , evaluate gastro-protective consequences hydroxyl amino acid rich sericin solution on aspirin induced gastric mucosal injuries in albino rat models were tested following Institutional Ethical committee rules and regulations .In our experiments, 36 male Holtzman strain adult rats considered divided into Control group, treated Pre-treated control Aspirin Omeprazole group experiment group. AST, ALT ALP, SOD, CAT, LPO, GSH measured all groups. shows increase UI, GSH, ALP AST activities, whereas it decrease CAT SOD activities.
